About Alex Cosnier
Alex Cosnier’s passion for beauty comes from his early childhood, where he would grow fond of the smells and products that define his art to this day.
“When I was younger I would go with my mom to the hair salon… I fell in love with the salon, the products and smells.”
Alex grew up in France and was exposed to the beauty industry at an early age. His fondest memories are going with his mother at a young age to get her hair styled at her local hair salon. It was there that he developed an interest in hair styling and hair care. As a teenager, Alex decided that he wanted to pursue a career in hairstyling, and he began to work in his mother’s salon, learning new techniques and perfecting his skills.

Alex has applied his makeup expertise at some of the world’s most prestigious events including the Cannes Film Festival where he was able to showcase his natural ability to bring out people’s best features!
With an innate eye for detail, Alex took this interest on the global stage by traveling across continents to perfect his craft, from France to Morocco, Indonesia, and Hong Kong before finally settling in Miami, Florida.
Alex’s journey took him across continents where he learned from some of the best hairstylists in the world. He has also worked with celebrities, models, and fashion designers at fashion shows and other prestigious events. Alex has a list of notable celebrity clients who have benefited from his attention to detail and artistic flair.
With over 12 years experience of styling Shiry Bassey’s hair and makeup, and being Sylvie Vartan’s go-to stylist, Alex Cosnier brings a wealth of knowledge with him to Avant-Garde Salon & Spa.
